Human Trafficking Awareness Event

Saturday, 07/29/17
Time: 4pm-7pm
14743 Cool Valley Road
Valley Center 92082
Guest Speaker: Phil Ludwig
Reserve Seats: call/text (760) 419-5082

Learn the signs; know what action to take. There will be Q & A time and then Phil will be available to talk with personally.

About the speaker: Forced into early retirement after being hit by a drunk driver, Phil Ludwig, former SD Police officer, used his natural ability to work with troubled teens and their families to launch ‘Together Freedom’ in the early 90’s. He is a member of Ed Royce’s Human Trafficking Congressional Advisory Committee (HTCAC) and expert on child trafficking issues here in the U.S.

Starting with the City of Oceanside, Phil has created a model to attack child trafficking issues from all angles. It is his hope that this model can be duplicated in cities across the U.S. We encourage you to invite others, particularly parents of pre-teens and teenagers and those who work with this age group.

Backpacks filled with the items listed below are needed and are used for comfort and assistance of the victims of trafficking at the immediate time of rescue:

Full Size Shampoo and Conditioner
Body wash
Yoga Pants or Comfy Sweats
Sweater or Hoodie
Flats or Sandals
Hair ties
Face wash
And people can get creative with other items!

Donations of individual items or filled backpacks can be dropped off in Valley Center at a Two Worlds Connect House Concert or call for a meeting place for pickup (760) 419-5082.  Thank You!
